The year 2026 marks a decade of fruitful collaboration between the MRC Pontiac and the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais, a partnership aimed at the development of rural communities through the improvement of sustainable mobility. On this occasion, the two MRCs are proud to announce an improvement in public transit service on the territory of the MRC Pontiac and the municipality of Pontiac.
The improvement of the service, which aims to better meet the needs of citizens and users, will increase the number of daily trips on the 910 route from two to six. Commuting between the Pontiac service hubs (Quyon, Shawville and Campbell’s Bay) will be made possible to and from Gatineau, in the morning and at the end of the day. Effective April 20, these changes reflect a strong commitment to sustainable mobility in rural areas.
