The assistance granted under the Creative Development Fund is in the form of a non-repayable contribution. In this sense, it is considered governmental in nature and not as part of the promoter’s financial contribution.
If the project is accepted by the analysis committee and the Council of elected officials of the MRC Pontiac, you will be allocated the total amount assigned and accepted, whatsoever the final expenses, as long as the project is completed and exceeds the amount allocated. An initial sum equivalent to 70% of the grant will be remitted as soon as a contract is signed. The last 30% will be provided upon written confirmation and proof that the project is completed.
If the project is not carried out, the promoter / artist must reimburse 100% of the sums received under the terms of the project.
The expenses must be made according to the terms described in the contract that will be signed between the promoter and the MRC Pontiac. The financial capacity of the promoter to carry out his project will be decisive in the awarding of a grant.
