The MRC Pontiac is pleased to announce a call for professional artists to create a three-dimensional work of public art. The work will be installed outdoors, in front of the MRC Pontiac offices, and will enrich the cultural and visual landscape of Pontiac.
With this call to artists, the MRC hopes to receive proposals that will capture the imagination and reflect the identity of Pontiac. This work will be a showcase for artists from our region and beyond, while enriching our public space.
This call is open to professional artists or collectives of professional artists, holding a Quebec Enterprise Number (NEQ) and recognized by the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ). Proposals must be in keeping with the spirit of the site, and made of durable, low-maintenance materials.
Project details:
- Installation site: MRC Pontiac land, visible from Route 301 and the public parking lot of the building in Litchfield.
- The work must be no more than two (2) m high and have a maximum diameter of approximately one and a half (1.5) m ².
- Budget: $4,000, taxes included.
- Application deadline: November 26, 2025, at noon.
