The Pontiac Regional County Municipality (MRC) is proud to announce the
funding of several structuring projects under the Regions and Rurality Fund –
component 2, dedicated to territorial development, as well as the Regions and
Rurality Fund – component 3, dedicated to vitalization. These investments are
made possible thanks to the financial support of the Ministry of Municipal Affairs
and Housing (MAMH).
This initiative reflects the MRC Pontiac’s ongoing commitment to supporting
local development and fostering a dynamic, resilient and inclusive territory. By
investing in community projects, the MRC seeks to strengthen regional identity
and support long-term socio-economic growth.
The call for projects, launched on March 25, targeted initiatives aligned with the
MRC’s strategic priorities, with a particular emphasis on economic impact, the
revitalization of communities, and sustainable local development. Projects were
evaluated based on their potential regional economic benefits, as well as their
ability to address identified community needs.
The MRC of Pontiac is proud to support local stakeholders who play a key role in
advancing sustainable development, fostering economic growth, and enhancing
the overall quality of life across the territory.
